The Cosmology of Stehreel
The world of Stehreel is not limited to existence in the Physical Plane. In truth, the world exists in three separate planes; two opposing planes that use the Physical Plane as a bridge. The planes are the homes of Gods and Demons, full of elemental forces that can be avoided or tamed.
The planes are as much a part of the world as the sun and the moons and the stars. The average Elf or Hkahnihn knows of the two planes that their lives touch, and every one of the mortal races can claim an ethereal link to one or both of the spiritual planes.

The Spectral Plane
The Spectral Plane is composed of 10 elements and exists on three separate layers, called "heights". Each height is metaphysically further from the Physical Plane, though in actual space they exist atop one another.
The Spectral Plane is home to Specters, Fey, Draken, and Inkari.

The Umbral Plane is composed of 10 elements and exists on three separate layers, called "depths". Each depth is metaphysically further from the Physical Plane, though in actual space they exist atop one another.
The Umbral Plane is home to Lesser Demons, Kaiser, Seriph, and Nameless.
