Time

The Spectral Element of Time in Stehreel is a symbol of sight and memory.  It exists in sympathy with the Umbral Element of Decay and can be harnessed by wizards in the Physical Plane of the world through its three aspects: Time, Sight, and Reversal.

There isn't a main source of time in the Physical Plane, though it is often linked to the bronze moon.  It is said that the Goddess Karia is bound to that moon, and endlessly watches Stehreel.

On the surface layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Time is at its weakest save in the Physical Plane of the world where it does not have tangible form.  There are several Specters associated with time, totem spirits that exist in the surface layer of the Spectral Plane.  They were created by the Fey of Time.

The Totem Specters of Time are the Tiger, the Owl, and the Spider.

The great Fey of Time, the weakest of the Demigods are called Clockwork Fey.

Draken of Time

On the middle layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Time is strong and steady, a thick torrent of past and future.  No Specters journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane, because all of the passages to it are guarded by those touched by the hand of Karia herself.

Some say that the spirits of those aligned to Time journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane in death, dwelling in the pockets of memory and vision.

The Bronze Draken, strongest of the Demigods, used to dwell on this layer of the Spectral Plane, but gave up their Spectral forms in favor of Physical forms to guard the world from destruction.

Karia

In the deepest layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Time is so overpowering that it is said no mortal could bear to stand within it.  Only the Gods live here, among them Karia, the Inkari of Time.

Karia is considered the oldest of the female Inkari, though truly of all of them she has no age being outside of the bounds of time. Considered the Seer of the goddesses, Karia watches the flow of time and tends it like a spider in a web. While she can see the varied interweaving paths of potential, Karia has a strict hands-off approach towards the actual decision-making. She considers her sight to come with its own restrictions which she imposes on herself and her servants.

Karia is cryptic to a purpose and not just to be an annoying Goddess. She feels that the wrong words at the wrong time can skew the entire path of the future, and does not wish to interfere. There are those of her servants, directly or indirectly, who also have intimate knowledge of the power of words to change the course of events. They use that power to skew events to ones that they prefer, applying just the right pressure at just the right moment to yield their choice of outcomes.

Karia is one of the matron Goddesses of the Moon Elves of Stehreel, and the sole Goddess of the Cave Elves of Stehreel.
