Entropy
The Umbral Element of Entropy in Stehreel is a symbol of hopelessness and despair. It exists opposite of the Spectral Element of Light and can be harnessed by warlocks in the Physical Plane of the world through its three aspects: Entropy, Balance, and Probability.
There isn't a main source of Entropy in Stehreel, but it is often said to focus deep in the south near the southern pole. It is said that the First, Nameless of Entropy, is buried there.
On the surface layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Entropy is at its weakest save in the Physical Plane of the world where it does not have tangible form. There are several lesser demons associated with entropy, creations of the Kaiser of Entropy that can travel the surface layer of the Umbral Plane.
The Lesser Demons of Entropy are the Oni, the Helhound, and the Doom Bringer.
The great Kaiser of Entropy, the weakest of the Demigods, are called Kalvas; large demonic hounds with wings and unicorn horns.
On the middle layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Entropy is strong and steady, a thick swirl of fate and chance. No Lesser Demons journey to this layer of the Umbral Plane, because all of the passages to it are guarded by those touched by the hand of the First herself.
Some say that the spirits of those aligned to Entropy journey to this layer of the Umbral Plane in death, dwelling in the pockets of luck.
The Rroka Seriph, strongest of the Demigods, dwell on this layer of the Umbral Plane, forged of entropic energy. Lumbering quadropedal insect-like forms and scythe arms bedeck these skeletal beings of black lightning.
The First
In the deepest layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Entropy is so overpowering that it is said no mortal could bear to stand within it. Only the Gods live here, among them The First, the Nameless of Entropy.
The First is the Nameless of Entropy and the only Nameless without a true name. Patient, conniving, vicious, and totally obsessed with the destruction of the Inkari as well as the world of Stehreel, The First is a planner and a plotter. She is the creator of the Hkahnihn, the demons below the world.
The Caldera Demons are devoted with slavish zeal to the will of The First. Every tenday, a week's length on Stehreel, the High Priestesses of the Caldera Demons offer a blood sacrifice to their matron deity. A slave is often the one sacrificed on the altar, though if no slave is found a Priestess is more than willing to sacrifice her life for the Goddess.
The embodiment of cold conniving, only the Caldera Demons of Stehreel choose to worship The First.
