Discord
The Umbral Element of Discord in Stehreel is a symbol of anarchy and chaos. It exists in sympathy with the Spectral Element of Wind and can be harnessed by warlocks in the Physical Plane of the world through its three aspects: Discord, Distortion, and Dissonance.
There isn't a main source of Discord in Stehreel, but it is often said to focus deep in the northern parts of the continent of Mehnihs. It is said that Azriel, Nameless of Discord, is buried there.

On the surface layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Discord is at its weakest save in the Physical Plane of the world where it does not have tangible form. There are several lesser demons associated with discord, creations of the Kaiser of Discord that can travel the surface layer of the Umbral Plane.
The Lesser Demons of Discord are the Banshee, the Defiler, and the Hisser.
The great Kaiser of Discord, the weakest of the Demigods, are called Gorgons; large elf-like creatures with snake tails and writhing snakes for hair.
On the middle layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Discord is strong and steady, a cacophonous tumult of dissonance and change. No Lesser Demons journey to this layer of the Umbral Plane, because all of the passages to it are guarded by those touched by the hand of Azriel herself.
Some say that the spirits of those aligned to Discord journey to this layer of the Umbral Plane in death, dwelling in the ever-changing pockets of anarchy.
The Djinni Seriph, strongest of the Demigods, dwell on this layer of the Umbral Plane, forged of chaotic energy. Large rune-covered torsos with tornadic legs, the Djinni are a relentless force of change.

Azriel
In the deepest layer of the Umbral Plane, the element of Discord is so overpowering that it is said no mortal could bear to stand within it. Only the Gods live here, among them Azriel, the Nameless of Discord.
Azriel is pure chaos, and she is untroubled by any foolish, logical foibles. Quixotic, frenetic, and as unpredictable as the dispersion of sand on the shore, Azriel is unhappy with the calm of peace and the strength of unity. She craves dissonance, cacophony, and constant change. Azriel has turned on her allies when they were winning before, creating a twisted form of balance in which only chaos reigns and no side truly ever wins.
Azriel is not only the butterfly beating its wings continents away from the resulting typhoon, she is also the errant cross-breeze that nullifies the whole cascade of events. She is not afraid to unmake her own work, contradict her own endeavors, or turn her considerable skills at generating chaos on her own servants. Some deities in Stehreel try to lay claim to unpredictability. They insist that their plans are too complex, too convoluted, and too stretched out through time and geography to be understood in their entirety. Azriel is truly unpredictable, because she has no real plans. To borrow a quote: she just wants to watch the world burn.
While she receives power from the chaos of the Abyssal Demons, their hatred of the Nameless prevents them from worshiping her; only some covens of Caldera Demons consider her their goddess.
