Plant
The Spectral Element of Plant in Stehreel is a symbol of peace and life. It exists opposite of the Umbral Element of Death and can be harnessed by wizards in the Physical Plane of the world through its three aspects: Plant, Stone, and Soil.
The main source of plant in the Physical Plane is the forests and jungles of the world. It is said that the God Borius is bound to the largest tree, the world Tree.
On the surface layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Plant is at its weakest save in the Physical Plane of the world where it only exists in physical form. There are several Specters associated with plant, totem spirits that exist in the surface layer of the Spectral Plane. They were created by the Fey of Plant.
The Totem Specters of Plant are the Stag, the Sparrow, and the Beetle.
The great Fey of Plant, the weakest of the Demigods are called Dryads.
On the middle layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Plant is strong and steady, a thick whorl of bark and greenery. No Specters journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane, because all of the passages to it are guarded by those touched by the hand of Borius himself.
Some say that the spirits of those aligned to Plant journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane in death, dwelling in the pockets of green grass and rocky mountains.
The Green Draken, strongest of the Demigods, used to dwell on this layer of the Spectral Plane, but gave up their Spectral forms in favor of Physical forms to guard the world from destruction.
Borius
In the deepest layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Plant is so overpowering that it is said no mortal could bear to stand within it. Only the Gods live here, among them Borius, the Inkari of Plant.
Borius is considered to be the god of Life on Stehreel. A green god, Borius is bound to the Great Tree; a massive world tree similar to many found in our own mythology. He is a god of peace and tranquility, the god of plants and growing things, yet he is not a force to be written off. While his fuse is indeed a long one, woe be unto the Elf or Demon who makes the mistake of pissing off the god of nature himself. His servants are the most well-known healers in all of Stehreel.
Borius' power is commonly used by the Forest Elves of Stehreel, who have a symbiotic connection to trees from birth til death. Though the Great Tree he dwells in is the spot on the planet most full of life energy, it dwells in the center of the largest desert on the face of Stehreel, making any journey there an epic endeavor.
Borius is the God of the Forest Elves of Stehreel.
