Light

The Spectral Element of Light in Stehreel is a symbol of hope and creativity.  It exists opposite of the Umbral Element of Entropy and can be harnessed by wizards in the Physical Plane of the world through its three aspects: Light, Reflection, and Illusion.

The main source of light in the Physical Plane is Stehreel's sun, Eza.  It is named for the God Eza who is said to be bound within its brilliant core.

On the surface layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Light is at its weakest save in the Physical Plane of the world where it does not have tangible form.  There are several Specters associated with light, totem spirits that exist in the surface layer of the Spectral Plane.  They were created by the Fey of Light.

The Totem Specters of Light are the Chameleon, the Dove, and the Butterfly.

The great Fey of Light, the weakest of the Demigods are called Wisps.

Draken of Light

On the middle layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Light is strong and steady, a thick swirl of colors and luminosity.  No Specters journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane, because all of the passages to it are guarded by those touched by the hand of Eza himself.

Some say that the spirits of those aligned to Light journey to this layer of the Spectral Plane in death, dwelling in the pockets of multicolored brightness.

The Golden Draken, strongest of the Demigods, used to dwell on this layer of the Spectral Plane, but gave up their Spectral forms in favor of Physical forms to guard the world from destruction.

Eza

In the deepest layer of the Spectral Plane, the element of Light is so overpowering that it is said no mortal could bear to stand within it.  Only the Gods live here, among them Eza, the Inkari of Light.

Eza is the creator of the world of Stehreel and the Elves that inhabit its surface. He is bitter, because after the Cataclysm he was bound to the Sun and could no longer do as he wishes.  Eza loves to create, and has since long before he created the world of Stehreel.  That is still a part of him despite his bitterness.

The Priests of Eza have convinced themselves of what His will is to such a degree that they rarely listen for His voice anymore.  The church determines what Eza desires, and proclaims it to parishioners with zeal.

The embodiment of hope and freedom, Eza is the God of the Sun Elves of Stehreel.
